- To make an oven cleaner, cleaners Dollis Hill say that all you need to do is to pour a little water over the bottom of the oven, then cover it with baking soda and sprinkle some more water the soda. Leave the mixture to work overnight and the just wipe it off. Most of the grim should have loosen. Then just take a sponge and dab a bit of liquid detergent on it. Wipe the rest of the grim with it.
- For an all-purpose spray cleaner mix in a spray bottle 1 teaspoon of baking soda, a little liquid soap and 2 cups of hot tap water. Shake it until the baking soda has dissolved.
- To make a furniture polish mix ½ teaspoon of olive oil and ¼ cup of vinegar or lemon juice. Put it in a glass jar and dab a soft white cloth into it and wipe the surface. When you are finished, you can close the jar and save the solution.
- For a solution that removes mold mix together in a spray bottle 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil and 2 cups of water. Cleaners Dollis Hill say that nothing works better on mold than this spray. Just spray the problem areas. Do not rinse it off. The smell of the tea tree will disappear in no time.
